Novus Ordo

Facts about the Novus Ordo:

The Mass of Paul VI, also known as the Ordinary Form or Novus Ordo (AD 1969).

The Novus Ordo Mass (the common Mass in western Latin churches) is NOT the outcome of the second Vatican council; NOR did the council fathers approve or agree to such liturgy; neither were they consulted. The fathers of the council approved some changes to the Traditional Latin Mass limited to things like removing a psalm prayer and a second Gospel reading. But they never agreed to replace the Traditional Latin Mass.

The Novus Ordo Mass was the result of a liturgy council after vat2. It was manipulated by Bugnini, a man later discovered to be a freemason, who manipulated and deceived both the council and the pope, in order to get rid of the Traditional Latin Mass. Therefore it was founded from the beginning on lies.

The Fathers of the Second Vatican Council never approved:

  • Lay people giving communion; receiving of holy communion by hand.
  • Removal of the degree of the reader
  • Removal of reverence and mystery (incense, cross signs, genuflections..)

BISHOP SCHNEIDER ASKS POPE LEO TO HEAL THE HISTORY OF THE CHURCH-:-TOWARDS THE REAL VATICAN 2

19:30: During Vatican II; only psalm 42 and the last Gospel were removed

21:20: Two years later in 67 the first senate of bishops where the members were almost all still council fathers those participants in 67. These were more or less more than 100 bishops were all uh two years ago still members of the council. And when father bugini presented them the no order as we have it today almost this form to them the majority rejected it. This is this is a fact. It is hidden. It is silenced. It is removed from and this I think we must again state these two facts. And in spite of this, Bugini made these uh tactics and revolution with his friends and with with his friendship with Paul V 6 and implemented basically a revolutionary mass which is not at all the mass of Vatican 2.

Eye-witnesses that testify this baseless Mass:

Bishop Athanasius Schneider: Cardinal Roche’s Liturgy Report Is “Manipulative” and Distorts History:

1. Joseph Ratzinger

“The problem of the new Missal lies in the fact that it breaks away from this continuous history—one that progressed uninterrupted both before and after Pius V—and creates an entirely new book, whose appearance is accompanied by a type of prohibition of what previously existed that is wholly foreign to the history of Church law and liturgy. From my knowledge of the conciliar debates and from a renewed reading of the speeches delivered at that time by the Council Fathers, I can state with certainty that this was not intended.” (Joseph Ratzinger 1976 letter to Professor Wolfgang Waldstein)

Archimandrite Boniface Luykx (liturgical scholar, a peritus at the Second Vatican Council and a member of the Vatican liturgical commission (the so-called Consilium) led by Fr. Annibale Bugnini): “Behind these revolutionary exaggerations were hidden three typically Western but false principles: (1) the concept (à la Bugnini) of the superiority and normative value of modern Western man and his culture for all other cultures; (2) the inevitable and tyrannical law of constant change that some theologians applied to the liturgy, Church teaching, exegesis, and theology; and (3) the primacy of the horizontal” (A Wider View of Vatican II, Angelico Press, 2025, p. 131).

“There was a perfect continuity between the preconciliar period and the Council itself, but after the Council this crucial continuity was broken by the postconciliar commissions. … The Novus Ordo is not faithful to CSL [Constitution on the Sacred Liturgy] but goes substantially beyond the parameters which CSL set for the reform of the Mass rite. … The steamroller of man-centered horizontalism (as opposed to God-centered verticalism) has flattened all liturgical forms after Vatican II, but its main victim is the Novus Ordo. … The main loser in this process is the mystery, which should be, on the contrary, the main object and content of the celebration” (pp. 80, 98, 104).

Bugnini was initiated into the Masonic Lodge on April 23, 1963, according to the Masonic Register in 1976. When the New Mass came out in 1969, Cardinals Ottaviani, Bacci, and some other theologians wrote to Paul VI about it. Keep in mind that what they said about the New Mass concerns the Latin Version, the so-called “most pure” version of the New Mass. Their study is popularly known as The Ottaviani Intervention. It states: “The Novus Ordo represents, both as a whole and in its details, a striking departure from the Catholic theology of the Mass as it was formulated in Session 22 of the Council of Trent.” The fruits of the New Mass are incalculably scandalous, sacrilegious and idolatrous. This is because the New Mass itself, even in its most pure form, is a false, invalid Mass and an abomination. With the exception of a single genuflection by the celebrant after the consecration, virtually every sign of respect for the Body and Blood of Christ which characterized the Traditional Mass has either been abolished or made optional for the New Mass. Therefore, a Catholic CANNOT attend the New “Mass” UNDER THE PAIN OF MORTAL SIN. Those who persist in doing so are committing idolatry (worshiping a piece of bread). Jesus Christ is not present there. The host is merely a piece of bread, not Our Lord’s Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity. The Church has always taught that to approach a doubtful sacrament (which employs doubtful matter or form) is mortally sinful. In fact, Pope Innocent XI, Decree of the Holy Office, March 4, 1679, even condemns the idea that Catholics can receive "probable" sacraments. And the New Mass is not merely doubtful, it is invalid, since it does not signify the grace it is supposed to effect. It is actually worse than a Protestant service; it is an abomination, which falsifies the words of Jesus Christ and the Catholic Faith. *** Explanation of the Prophecy: That "fatal hour" spoken of in this prophecy, the same abolition of the "perpetual sacrifice" foretold in the Book of Daniel in the Old Testament of the Bible and from the very own words of Our Lord Jesus about the "disastrous abomination" has long been fulfilled when Paul VI of Vatican II promulgated the New Mass or the Novus Ordo Missae– Latin for New Order of the Mass, on April 3, 1969. Now the part of the consecration that has been changed in a false and heretical manner is the WINE portion of the consecration. The New Mass has changed the words of Jesus Christ in the consecration of the wine from: “This is the Chalice of My Blood, of the New and Eternal Testament: the mystery of faith, which shall be shed for you and for MANY unto the remission of sins” into… “This is the chalice of my blood, of the new and eternal testament: which shall be shed for you and for ALL so that sins may be forgiven” Pope Eugene IV, Council of Florence, 1439: “All these sacraments are made up of three elements: namely, things as the matter, words as the form, and the person of the minister who confers the sacrament with the intention of doing what the Church does. If any of these is lacking, the sacrament is not effected.” *** On the true intention of Paul VI in the reform of the Mass Paul VI even admitted to his good friend Jean Guitton that his intention in changing the Mass was to make it Protestant. Jean Guitton (an intimate friend of Paul VI) wrote: “The intention of Pope Paul VI with regard to what is commonly called the [New] Mass, was to reform the Catholic liturgy in such a way that it should almost coincide with the Protestant liturgy. There was with Pope Paul VI an ecumenical intention to remove, or, at least to correct, or, at least to relax, what was too Catholic in the traditional sense in the Mass and, I repeat, to get the Catholic Mass closer to the Calvinist Mass.” *** The prophecy of Luke 18:8 - “But yet the Son of man, when he cometh, shall he find, think you, faith on Earth?” In the Gospel, Jesus Christ not only informs us that in the last days the true faith would hardly be found on the Earth, but that “in the holy place” itself there will be “the abomination of desolation” (Mt. 24:15), and a deception so profound that, if it were possible, even the elect would be deceived (Mt. 24:24). St. Paul says that the man of sin will sit “in the temple of God” (2 Thess. 2:4). The Apocalypse describes in detail the Harlot of Babylon, a false bride (i.e. a Counter Church) which arises in the last days in the city of seven hills (Rome) and which spreads spiritual fornication all over the Earth. The fact that the last days are characterized by a spiritual deception intending to ensnare Catholics proves, rather than disproves, the authenticity of the Catholic Church *** THE PROPHESY OF THE NEW MASS (NOVUS ORDO) "On November 27, 1902 and May 10, 1904, Jesus and Our Lady revealed to Marie Julie Janenny (February 12, 1850 - March 4, 1941) of France, a mystic and stigmatist, the conspiracy to invent the "New Mass:" "I give you a WARNING. The disciples who are NOT of My Gospel are now working hard to remake according to their ideas and under the influence of the enemy of souls a MASS that contains words that are odious in my sight. When the fatal hour arrives when the faith of My priests is put to the test, it will be (these texts) that will be celebrated in this SECOND period... The FIRST period is (the one) of My priesthood which exists since Me. The SECOND is (the one) of the persecution when the ENEMIES of the Faith and of Holy Religion (will impose their formulas) in the book of the Holy Celebration ... These infamous spirits are those who crucified ME and are awaiting the Kingdom of the NEW MESSIAH." *** https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=907892278023649&set=pb.100064086546205.-2207520000&type=3 How the Novus Ordo Missae Destroyed the Tridentine Mass Dr. Remi Amelunxen The last article looked at the slow and steady changes made to the liturgy of the Mass by the Conciliar progressivists preparing for the Novus Ordo Missae. Here we will see the further and more radical destruction. Two documents were promulgated on April 3, 1969, for the reform of the Mass: The Institutio Generalis, with 341 articles in which the new rites are minutely explained, andThe text of the new Ordo Missae. On November 30, 1969, these two documents came into force, which in practical terms means that Novus Ordo Missae was thrust upon the Roman Catholic Church. When the Novus Ordo Missae was first introduced, it was defined in the Institutio as “an assembly of the People of God under the presidency of the Priest.” There was no mention in it of the Mass as a sacrifice. Nor was there any mention of the dogma of transubstantiation. Incidentally, both omissions incur the anathema of the Council of Trent. Instead the Mass was presented as a memorial of the Resurrection and Ascension. (1) In his work In the Murky Waters of Vatican II, Atila Guimarães points out two other extremely important points of the Mass modified by the Novus Ordo: the Offertory and the Consecration, with innovations made to accommodate the Protestants. In the Offertory in the Tridentine Mass, many prayers such as the Suscipe Sancte Pater, the Offerimus Tibi Domini, the Deus qui humanae substantiae and the Veni Sanctificator clearly show the propitiatory character of the Sacrifice. All these prayer were eliminated in the Novus Ordo. (2) There was another essential modification in the formula of the Roman Canon, again to make the Mass more acceptable to Protestants. We saw in the last article the introduction of the three new Canons, which desacralize the Mass and remove its essential sacrificial character. In the Novus Ordo Missae, the Consecratory formula was changed and fused into the preparatory prayer of the Consecration Qui pridie, with the two together becoming “the Narration of the Institution.” With this, Guimarães notes, “It is implied that the Mass has been changed from a Sacrifice to merely a memorial supper. Importantly, the form of the Consecration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was definitively expressed at the Council of Florence in 1442, reiterated at the Council of Trent in 1545 and the Missale Romanum was codified by Pope St. Pius V in 1570 in the Bull Quo primum tempore.” He continues: “The removal of the words 'mysterium Fidei' from the Consecratory formula of the wine in the Novus Ordo contradicts these two councils and Quo primum, and could appear to be a deliberate attempt to eliminate the sacrificial nature of the Mass. This facilitates an acceptance of the Novus Ordo by Protestants and places grave doubts about Transubstantiation in the minds of the Catholic clergy and laity. Doubts of this magnitude can without a question contribute powerfully to increase the extraordinary crisis of Faith that is shaking large parts of the clergy.”(3) Thus, he concludes: “The heart of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been profoundly modified by the Novus Ordo.”(4) A futile Intervention Naturally, the progressivists were pleased with the 1969 Institutio and Novus Ordo Missae, but the conservatives were not. On September 13, Cardinals Ottaviani and Bacci sent Paul VI the well-known Intervention titled Brief Critical Examinaltion of the Novus Ordo Missae. Ottaviani's Intervention caused no essential changes in the form of the New Mass. In it they stated that the New Mass “represented as a whole, and in its details, a striking departure from the Catholic theology of the Mass as it was formulated in session 22 of the Council of Trent, which erected an insurmountable barrier against any heresy that might attack the integrity of the Mystery.” (5) To deflect criticisms of this document, a revised General Instruction was issued on March 26, 1970, with a Prologue to the Institutio presenting some principles of Catholic doctrine absent in the 1969 version. However, a careful study of this Prologue shows no essential modifications regarding the 1969 document, and no significant change was made in the text of the Novus Ordo Missae itself. (6) There was not “a more acceptable form” or even partial victory with the 1970 Institutio and New Mass, as trumpeted by some traditionalist and conservative writers to curry favor with the Una Voce commission and authors of the Intervention. Intent to destroy Even in the original Latin form, the Novus Ordo was a doctrinal travesty that displayed its intent to destroy the Tridentine Mass. A total of 35 prayers or approximately 70% of the Tridentine Mass were replaced or discarded as well as many brief versicles and responses, more than 20 Signs of the Cross, 12 genuflections and multiple other acts of reverence.(7) Thus the break with Sacred Tradition and Dogma was accomplished. It should be recalled that the authors of this travesty were the members of the committee called the Consilium headed by Archbishop Bugnini, whose Freemasonic connections are almost certain to be real. Assisting the group were six Protestant observers, whom Paul VI publicly thanked for their help in “re-editing in a new manner liturgical texts … so that the lex orandi (the law of prayer) conformed better with the lex credendi (the law of belief).” (😎 One can only wonder how Protestant heretics could offer any help in formulating the very rite that they rejected… In conclusion, it should be noted that the Novus Ordo Missae of Paul VI in 1969 is remarkably in agreement with the Anglican Mass of Cranmer in 1549. An analogous procedure of gradual changes was also used to prepare the faithful to accept the dramatic changes and the explicit heresy of Anglicanism.(9) Atila S. In photo (see post, fb link) The six Protestant Ministers who were commissioned with writing the invalid New Mass. These Protestants: Drs. George, Jasper, Shepherd, Kunneth, Smith and Thurian were invited by Paul VI in order to make sure that nothing in the New Mass would shock their heresy. It is not surprising that the resulting Novus Ordo Mass has the flavor of Protestantism, which means the taste of heresy. TODO: << In his first three months as pope, Leo XIV has not issued any significant changes to the status of the traditional Latin Mass (TLM). 'Traditionis Custodes,' Pope Francis' 2021 policy calling for restrictions like the *removal of the preconciliar liturgy from all parish churches is still in effect*. But something else regarding the TLM has changed under Pope Leo: the conversation. Since the new Pope assumed office on May 8, several prelates who had previously kept silent under Pope Francis have spoken out in favor of the TLM. Some of these Church leaders, who have included high-ranking cardinals, have made appeals to Leo XIV to reconsider the restrictions placed on the traditional liturgy, while others have criticized some of the reasons for limiting its availability in the first place. >> Remember: conversation often precedes conversion, and conversion precedes correction.
