On the Value of Privacy

Technology, like our freedom, is only a tool under our disposal. We should never misuse it. It should be used for the good, for the sake of everyone, not for the sake of the self. It should never be used for selfish purposes.

Like the many values the west has forsaken, Privacy is one of the God given values that we should honor. Westerners due to their scepticism, have lost meaning of many immaterial values, for the sake of material ones, for the ones that they can see with the naked eye. The westerner today needs to see and touch, otherwise they won't believe.

Honor is a value that is already lost. Take sacrifice within the family, let alone outside of it. Take chivalry, women today wait at the door for a man to enter, why? Because he arrived first! Such scepticism! With the loss of the family, manhood and womanhood are being lost. And today Privacy is being taken away.

What have all of these values been replaced with? Money. This is the way of the world. The world has only one way: the way of money, they way of evil, they way of the self.

They way of God contradicts with the world's. God has given us the absolute freedom to choose between the two. Either him, or the self (money).

No. We can't do anything without God. Without our Creator we are hopeless. Without Jesus Christ we are doomed.

Use an encrypted email service, for example [Protonmail](https://www.protonmail.com/), never use gmail, their algorithms can use your messages as data to learn things about you, predict what you are going to do, and influence your decisions (Behaviour Modification, Zuboff). Do not let them objectify what you write and use it to achieve their selfish aims. The data business today exceeds the oil industry (The Great Hack 2019).

For calling/texting use [Signal](https://www.signal.com/).

Use Linux as a desktop operating system, for example [ubuntu](https://tutorials.ubuntu.com/tutorial/tutorial-install-ubuntu-desktop). Never use a closed OS like Windows or Mac.

Use [LineageOS](https://lineageos.org/) as a mobile phone operating system.

Use a flash disk, never use online storage (eg. google drive, dropbox..).

Use [Firefox](https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/) instead of Chrome (Google).

Live a natural life. Don't use Facebook, never link it with any other Facebook owned services (Whatsapp or Instagram). Don't use a google account. Don't use apps that spread superficiality like Instagram.
