The Family and Christian Sexual Morality

1. Sex is a holy gift given to us by God, its purpose is to unite husband and wife in marriage, and to let them participate with God in the creation of a new life, and raising children. The Father and the Mother figures are important representation for the children as it resembles our relationship to God our creator.

   Importance of Father's figure:
   "As a father pities his children,
   so the LORD pities those who fear him."
   Psalms 103:13

2. How many "carers" would die for the children they "care" for? Every honest father and mother would die for their children. This is how God treats us, God literally sent his Son and died for us.
3. Parents best know what is good for their children, and they give them commands what is good and what is not. Guide them out of love. In other sense, they symbolise God.

1. The family is the origin of holiness and base of human society and civilisation.
2. God's purpose from giving us the sexual purity commandments (such as chastity), is not to "interfere in our private lives", rather His purpose is to guard and protect the family. Sexual morality, chastity is meant to purify our soulsfrom lust, and to guard the family.
3. Natural Family: What is appropriate to human nature, not the natural world. What is meant by natural, is not the natural world, but the nature of human. Therefore...

• Without family there is no life god shared the gift of giving life with both the husband and the wife.
• The relationship of the children with the father and the mother is a micro image of our relationship with God our heavenly father and our lady is our mother.

3. Abortion which is murder (the killing of innocent life).

All these ideologies/heresies can be summarised in one word:

Modernism.

They need to know that God loves them, he died for them, but He rejects their pervert tendencies, and they are called for holiness and conversion from their sinful ways.
