Holy Apostolic Tradition - التقليد الرسوليّ المقدّس
Our Holy Tradition is what connects us to our Lord. Only through Holy Tradition can we understand the Holy Word of God. Christianity itself is a tradition.
See the two books The Bible Is a Catholic Book by Jimmy Akin and The Early Church was the Catholic Church by Joe Heschmeyer in books.

Paradosis in Scripture:
Paradosis is the oral tradition (Holy Apostolic Tradition) which was taught and transmitted by the Apostles. It includes especially interpretations of many difficult verses, passed orally during the first few centuries, then written down by the early church saint fathers.
- 2 Thessalonians 3:6
- 1 Cor 11:2
- 2 Thessalonians 2:15
Note: The Jews also had an orally transmitted tradition. In the New Testament the Holy Spirit confirms that (about Hagar.. find it), this wasn't novel, but was part of the Jewish oral tradition.
The Holy Book commands us that we should not depart from this tradition:
- 2 Peter 1:20
The placing of hands:
- To another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another the ability to distinguish between spirits, to another various kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. (1 Corinthians 12:10)
- Then they laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Spirit. (Acts 8:17)
- But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. (John 14:26) If this was limited to the apostles, it would be a vain commandment, God forbid.
- I will be with you until the close of the age (his disciples dies within 70 years of his ascension, he must mean that he will be not only with them but also with their disciples, i.e. passed tradition)
2 Tim 1:13
