«For freedom Christ has set us free; stand fast therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.» (Galatians 5:1)

This yoke of slavery is sin.

«For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not use your freedom as an opportunity for the flesh, but through love be servants of one another.» (Galatians 5:13)

True freedom is in assuming our reponsibility. True freedom is not that we become slaves to our pleasures and desires. But to know God and follow his commandments freely and assume our responsibilities. This is true and genuine freedom.

True freedom is to free ourselves from sin. Not to be slaves to sin this is the slavery and not freedom. If we don't obey our parents as children if we don't eat healthy food stay up late waste our time this is not freedom this is the lack of freedom.

Animals do not have this freedom. Nor do they have reason. This is why when an animals sees food, its desire controls it, and it must eat if it's hungry. But God gave us a mind to think, and a free will, and a conscience.

True freedom is to assume our responsibilities towards others and towards God

كل بربارة وانتوا سالمين، اليوم كمان عيد يوحنا الدمشقي كل عام وانتوا بألف خير. الله يمليكم من محبتو يلي بتخلي الواحد يلتزم بمسؤولياتو وما يهمل منها شي، ويعطيكم ويعطي اولادكم من الحرية الأصيلة يلي بتخلي الواحد يبتعد عن كل طريق شر: أكان تدخين أو سكر أو طمع أو خلاعة أو زنى. والله يفرجها على هالبلاد وكل مين فيها. آمين، استجب يا رب.

الحرية الحقيقية ما هي انو واحدنا يخضع لشهواته ونزواته، الحرية الحقيقية هي انو الواحد يعتنق مسؤوليتو، انو الواحد يختار من كل قلبو انو يعيش حسب وصايا الرب، انو يختار يلبّي نداء الرب بحياتو ويعمل مشيئته. هذه هي الحرية الحقيقية والسعادة الحقيقية. أما لما الواحد بدو يختار يخضع لشهوات جسدو، ويقول الله أعطاني شهوتي، فالانجيل بقول: انو الله أعطانا شهواتنا حتى نستخدمها بالمكان الصح، مو حتى نسيء استخدامها. الله أعطانا شهوة جنسية مقدّسة مو حتى نروح نزني فيها، ولا حتى نروح نفرّغها بالأفلام الإباحية يلي بتفصل الزوج عن زوجتو، ولكن حتى نستخدمها بتحقيق اتّحاد مقدّس بين اثنين، الاثنين بصيروا واحد، وثمرة هذا الاتحاد هو خلق حياة جديدة وتكوين أسرة مقدسة. الله اختار انو يشرك الانسان بشغلة هو وحدو قادر يعملها: الخلق، حتى الملايكة الله ما أشركهم بهذه النعمة.
